“直”，做副词可以表示一直、径直、直接，后接单音节动词。例如：
“Zhi”, as an adverb, can mean straight and direct, followed by a monosyllabic verb. For example:
这趟火车直达上海，非常方便。
This train goes directly to Shanghai, which is very convenient.
前面的路口直走，500米后到车站。
Go straight at the intersection in front and get to the station after 500 meters.
“直”，还可以表示(动作、行为)连续不停地、不断地。例如：
“Straight” can also mean (action, behavior) continuously . For example:
每天早上六点钟，学校的广播直响，提醒我们要起床了。
At six o’clock every morning, the school radio rings continuously , reminding us to get up.
老师看见小明的作业一点都没写而且还弄丢了，气的直发抖。
When the teacher saw that Xiao Ming had not written any of his homework and even lost it, he was trembling with anger.
