“同时”即可以作连词，也可以作名词
“同时”can be used as both a conjunction and a noun
作连词时，有更进一步的意思，常和“又、也、还”连用。例如:
The conjunction “同时”introduces a further remark, often used together with “又/
也/还”. for example:
她不仅美丽而且聪明，同时心眼也特别好
She is not only beautiful and smart, but also has a very good heart.
作名词时，表示动作行为在同一个时间发生，常用结构为 “在……（的）同时”.例如:
The noun “同时” indicates that two actions take place at the same time, often used in
the structure“在⋯⋯（的）同时”(when/while…).
我们在努力学习的同时也要加强体育锻炼.
While we study hard, we should also strengthen physical exercise.
