“支(zhī)”，动(dònɡ)词(cí)，也(yě)可(kě)以(yǐ)做(zuò)量(liànɡ)词(cí)。

“Zhi”, a verb, can also be used as a quantifier.

“支(zhī)”做(zuò)动(dònɡ)词(cí)的(de)时(shí)候(hòu)，表(biǎo)示(shì)用(yònɡ)东(dōnɡ)西(xī)撑(chēnɡ)着(zhe)使(shǐ)物(wù)体(tǐ)不(bù)落(luò)下(xià)来(lái)。例(lì)如(rú)：

When “Zhi” is used as a verb, it means to support something so that the object does not fall. For example:

他(tā)的(de)小(xiǎo)手(shǒu)支(zhī)着(zhe)脑(nǎo)袋(dài)，正(zhènɡ)在(zài)想(xiǎnɡ)事(shì)情(qínɡ)。

His little hands were on his head and he was thinking.

“支(zhī)”，做(zuò)量(liànɡ)词(cí)的(de)时(shí)候(hòu)，用(yònɡ)于(yú)音(yīn)乐(yuè)作(zuò)品(pǐn)、队(duì)伍(wǔ)  或(huò)杆(ɡǎn)状(zhuànɡ)的(de)东(dōnɡ)西(xī)。

“Zhi”, when used as a quantifier, is used in musical works, teams or rod-shaped things.
