“可是”，连词，用在复句的后一分句，表示转折,前一分句常有“虽然”跟它搭配使用,例如:
“but“, a conjunction, is used in the last clause of a complex sentence to indicate a turning point. The former clause is often used with “although”, for example:
我想换工作了，这里虽然收入高，可是经常要加班，很少有时间和家人在一起
I want to change my job. Although the income here is high, but I often have to work overtime and have little time to spend with my family
