“闻(wén)”可(kě)以(yǐ)做(zuò)语(yǔ)素(sù)，也(yě)可(kě)以(yǐ)做(zuò)动(dònɡ)词(cí)。

“闻”It can be a morpheme or a verb.

“闻(wén)”做(zuò)语(yǔ)素(sù)时(shí)，即(jí)为(wéi)听(tīnɡ)见(jiàn)、听(tīnɡ)见(jiàn)的(de)事(shì)情(qínɡ)、消(xiāo)息(xī)。例(lì)如(rú):

When “闻” is used as a morpheme, it is the thing or news that is heard.  For example:

When used as a verb, smell means smell with the nose,For example:

锅(ɡuō)冒(mào)热(rè)气(qì)的(de)时(shí)候(hòu)，我(wǒ)闻(wén)到(dào)了(le)浓(nónɡ)浓(nónɡ)的(de)菜(cài)香(xiānɡ)味(wèi)。
