” 不过 ”，可以做连词，用在后一分句的开头，表示转折，对前一分句的意思做补充、修正。
例如：

我现在生活压力很大、上有老下有小，除了工作以外，家里还有母亲和儿子需要照顾，不过现在我很幸福。

不过也可以做副词，表示仅仅，强调比较少、比较小
But it can also be used as an adverb to indicate only, emphasize less or little.
